Ending Child Sexual Abuse within 5 Generations
I am so sad that I missed the "Generations of Change" event honoring Staci Hanes last week -- Staci Hanes is the woman who began Generation 5, an organization devoted to ending childhood sexual abuse within 5 generations, through community education, public action, and survivor leadership. Join their mailing list, throw a house party, participate in a training and help out where you can!

Hello:
I am starting to put my life story (a book) on blogger. I am going to each person who has sexual abuse as a word in their "interests" in their profile and I guess you could say "marketing" my life story. I hope this does not offend, that is not the intent.

The reason any form of abuse continues is because those who should be shouting out about it, remain anonymous and silent.
Getting rid of it in 5 generations eh? Its inherent in all societies; rampant in South East Asia.
In The USA it takes place on a daily basis. So much so that its not even news worthy unless its mass abuse.Just take a look at the latest scandal in Texas. Religion supports it and encourages it. The heads of Chuches keeping silent.
Healing from abuse requires that you find something of your own. something that you create. Music, Art, Writing, anything that gives personal release.
Abuse whether sexual, verbal or authorative is to be loathed.a nd despised. Perpetrators should not be pitied or sympathised with. Kids who have been on or are the receiving end of abuse, and I am one of them must be protected. Not by the churches however.
Thats all for now. The Baldchemist

excellent work, being a survivor of abuse it's heart warming to know that someone is offering a way for people to understand the effects, bravo.
